fading_gain
fading_gain(
node_id: Any, bs_id: Any, now_ms: float
) -> float
Linear power gain of one BS-tag link at time now_ms (mean 1.0).
A Gauss-Markov (first-order AR) diffuse component drifting with coherence_time_ms, on top of a fixed LOS component set by fading_k_db. Correlated rather than redrawn per interval, so fade durations come out distributed instead of all being exactly one interval long.
The gain is per link and per tag, so two tags a metre apart fade independently and a tag can drop into a null wherever it sits - fading is what makes an energy outage an event rather than a coordinate.
